Men’s Hairstyle Trends at Chad & Co. Salon

We’re moving into ski weather in Colorado and it’s time for an updated haircut! At Chad & Co., we know it isn’t just women who want a style change. Men, we have you covered with the latest men’s hairstyle trends for those of you that want to change up your hairstyle as the cold weather approaches.

Long and Rugged. Many didn’t believe the man bun would become a true style, but what began as a fad has proven its staying power. This versatile look holds its own against other trends. If you don’t already have long hair, we suggest growing out your locks to at least 6 inches long for a decent man bun. When you come into Chad & Co., we can touch-up the ends, shape, and style your hair and give you tips for doing your man bun so it’ll look stylish while you’re out and keep you warm on those cold winter nights.

Loose Waves. If long hair is your style and you have loose, natural waves or curls, you’re right on trend for the season. It’s an easy-care style that will show off your rugged look for weekend fun, or you can tame it for a modern, soft look for the office.

Mid-Length Fringe. Like your hair on the mid-length side but want shape and style? A fringe is a great cut for those with mid-length, embracing a lot of layers, texture, and blended bangs to give an overall professional look with style.

Undercut. The undercut is a versatile cut that gives you a lot of options for styling. It’s a high contrast cut, showing a definite line between the top and sides, with longer hair on top with the sides short and shaved. Styling options can include taking advantage of the long top and shaping a voluminous pompadour or leaving it looser and more natural for a messy modern fringe.

Versatile Fade. As you go shorter with the hair, a fade is always a favorite. It lets you decide how far you want to go with your length. A low fade is for keeping your hair a little longer, with the fade starting right above the ear. A high fade is for shorter hair, starting much higher and shorter for more scalp showing. A mid-fade is right in the middle for those of you wanting a shorter, trendy haircut without keeping your hair too long or short.

Crew Cut. The crew cut is a timeless look for those that love a short, neat haircut. It’s been updated a bit for fall 2020 by going with a slightly longer cut and sculpted sides. Needless to say, it’s an easy, low-maintenance look that’s great for weekend fun or a professional look.

No matter which style you choose, it’s important to stay -up-to-date with regular trims to keep your style well-groomed and split ends at bay. Besides our Men’s Cut Design, we also offer a Men’s Color. Our stylists can help you cover up your grey, give you some highlights, or give you a new hair color for the holidays.

At most salons, stylists are only experienced with women’s hair. Men’s styles require special training and a skilled hand. At Chad & Co., our hairstylists are specifically trained and experienced in men’s styles to give you the style and service that you deserve.
